Helm Publishing, Inc. in Rockford, Ill. recently published local author Doreen Lewis' second book, the young adult
novel The Bubblegum Babes' Guide to Sixth Grade, aimed at girls ages 9-13.
Lewis' first book, the romance novel Her Backyard, was also published by Helm.
Lewis lives in New Port Richey with her husband, Mark, and their two teenagers. Her website is
